Several years ago, while remodeling our kitchen, our contractor suggested I make the tiles for the backsplash. I thought that was an impossible task, so I bought commercially made tiles. Then in 2011, I decided that might not be so impossible and began creating tiles. The designs on the tiles relate to Cape Cod and it's environment. These tiles are both Raku fired and Glazed Fired in an electric kiln.
