While traveling to various countries including: South Africa, Alaska, Middle East, Japan, I have become interested in ceremonial artifacts (altars, totems, masks and other items that would be used during rituals). Being respectful of other cultures, I have begun to create various sculptural pieces that are a distinctive symbol of my experience traveling to these lands. Through texture, shape and color, I have constructed these sculptures as my unique voice.
